Warranty, Returns & Account Terms
Find information about product warranties, returns and exchanges, shipping procedures, and the terms that govern account-based purchases.
We pride ourselves on a tradition of outstanding customer care and support. Our devoted team of account representatives understands that our customers are the hallmark of our enduring partnerships.
It is important for our customers to understand the standards established within our industry regarding the terms and conditions of a sale. Technology products and solutions may be subject to manufacturer restrictions that differ from those applicable to other purchases.
Most of the products and solutions we sell are subject to a manufacturer's warranty. The manufacturer's warranty is the first place to look for assistance with difficulties that may accompany your purchase. We encourage you to contact any of our account executives for information about warranties and service on products or solutions you purchase.
Manufacturer Warranty & Technical Support
Most manufacturers offer a one-year warranty on all new equipment. During the warranty period, you may contact the manufacturer to receive warranty service. The manufacturer will attempt to resolve your problem over the phone.
If an issue extends beyond the capabilities of the manufacturer's service centre, please contact your HBC Planet business representative for further guidance.
Special Orders & Custom Configurations
No returns or refunds will be made for items that are specially ordered for you or for unusual custom configurations of systems.
Other Non-Returnable Products
Several manufacturers' policies and restrictions disallow product returns. You will need to contact the manufacturer directly regarding the return or replacement of these brands under their respective guarantees and/or warranties.
Please contact us if you would like to obtain copies of the manufacturers' guarantees and warranties before making a purchase.
Manufacturer Money-Back Guarantee
Some items offer a Money-Back Guarantee from the manufacturer (an “MBG”). In those instances, we will not accept product returns. You will need to contact the manufacturer directly regarding product returns and the policies governing such returns.
Please contact us if you would like copies of manufacturers' guarantees and warranties, including any MBG, before purchase.
